Using this site
This website is the online front door of Beacon Auto Care, an auto repair shop at 2300 S El Camino Real, San Mateo, CA. By using it you agree to these terms.
Prices and estimates are guides, not offers
Posted prices and ranges on this site are honest guides based on typical jobs. Your exact price comes from an itemized written estimate after we see your car, and work starts only after you approve that estimate. Nothing on this site is a binding quote, and the shop is not obligated to perform work at a posted range if your vehicle's condition differs from a typical job.
Booking requests
Online booking (including the Web Advisor chat) submits a request for a time. It is not a confirmed appointment until we confirm it, normally by text. If a slot is unavailable we offer the nearest alternative.
Warranty
Repairs are covered by the shop's 24-month / 24,000-mile parts-and-labor warranty for the covered repair categories. The full, controlling terms are printed on your invoice; if this page and your invoice ever differ, the invoice governs.
The advice on this site
Symptom guides, cost ranges, and the triage tool describe common causes and typical outcomes. They are general information, not a diagnosis of your specific vehicle. If a page tells you a symptom is unsafe (a flashing check-engine light, an oil-pressure light, grinding brakes), take that seriously and stop driving; but only an in-person inspection can tell you what your car actually needs.

The text, photos, and videos on this site are the shop's own material (customer review quotes belong to their authors). Don't republish them as your own. Links to outside sites (Google Maps, review platforms, parts references) are provided for convenience; we don't control those sites.
